Ajay Devgn opens up about his relationship with nephew & Azaad actor Aaman Devgan; says, “He is not like my son, but…”

Aaman Devgan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Azaad alongside Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani. The film also stars superstar Ajay Devgn in the lead role. He recently talked about his bond with his nephew Aaman.

During the trailer launch of Azaad, Ajay Devgn opened up about his relationship with Aaman and stated that he is not just like his son, he is truly a son to him. He also expressed his deep connection to the project, and said, “Ye film mere liye kaafi maaino me special hai. First that iss film mein 2 naye bachche launch kiye jaa rahe hain. Both very talented. Ek jo meri colleague aur mere dost ki beti hai (Rasha Thadani). Aur ek Aaman, jo mere bete jaisa nahi, but beta hai. (This film is very special to me in many ways. First, because two new actors are being launched in it. Both are very talented. One is the daughter of my colleague and friend, and the other, Amaan, is not like my son, but he is my son).”

Azaad promises a gripping narrative set in pre-independence India. The film tells the story of a skilled horse rider, played by Ajay Devgn, who escapes the clutches of the brutal English army.

The film also stars Aaman Devgan and Rasha in the lead role. And Diana Penty essays the role of Ajay’s love interest. It is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. The film is all set to release in theatres on January 17, 2025.
